Trinity Fire & Security Systems Ltd. acquired by Premier Technical Services Group PLC

After 22 years of successful trading, Trinity Fire and Security Systems Ltd. is delighted to announce that it has been acquired by Premier Technical Services Group Plc (PTSG), a leading niche specialist service provider in the FM and construction sectors.

Trinity has become an established and highly respected provider of fire detection and life safety systems, security systems, service support and maintenance, compliance and asset management, operating from ten regional office locations, from Newcastle in the North east to Exeter in the South West.

Andrew Cotton, Managing Director of Trinity, said: “I am proud to have been part of Trinity’s success story since 2011. In that time, I have been fortunate to oversee the further growth of the company, creating one of the biggest and strongest businesses of our kind in the UK. We have a fantastic team here and with their help we have become a market leader in our field.

“We have achieved a great deal in our two decades of trading and this acquisition gives us great opportunities for further growth, with PTSG’s proven track record for delivering different niche specialist services to its vast and varied client base.”

PTSG operates four separate business divisions:

  • PTSG Access & Safety Ltd.
  • PTSG Electrical Services Ltd.
  • PTSG Building Access Specialists Ltd.
  • PTSG Fire Solutions Ltd.

Andrew continued: “Adding our customer base of circa 2,000 and our existing maintenance contracts to PTSG’s brings a group total of some 20,000 customers and a contract renewal rate in the region of 88 per cent. While our track record makes me proud, the potential for the future as part of PTSG is extremely exciting.

“We have also been a strong supporter of industry sustainability, with some of our apprenticeship team having previously been invited to the National Apprentice Security & Fire Excellence Awards. This is another area where there are strong parallels with PTSG. The Group recently won the top prize for Innovation in Professional Development at the 2018 IWFM Awards. This speaks of the outstanding training and development opportunities for staff within the Group and gives me great hope for the future of our own people.”

Paul Teasdale, PTSG’s CEO, said: “We are delighted to welcome Trinity into the PTSG family and we look forward to working with the team who have a fantastic and well-deserved reputation in the fire solutions sector. I am very impressed with what I have seen so far and we look forward to working with Trinity’s customers as we look for ways to grow stronger and be better together.”

Trinity Fire and Security Systems Ltd. Is now being fully integrated into PTSG’s Fire Solutions division.
