Describe yourself in three words?

Considerate, attentive and conscientious

Irn-Bru! (I am Scottish after all)

When and Why did you join Trinity?

I joined Trinity on a part time basis in December 2009 carrying out TDA works for temporary Army camp systems before starting my apprenticeship 6 months later. I went on to become a Fire & Security Commissioning Engineer, completing a wide range of smaller and larger scale projects throughout the South West region.

What is your role at Trinity and what does it involve?

My role has developed into a Project Engineer which, in essence, is the same as a Project Manager. I am responsible for managing various projects and works jobs, ensuring Trinity gives the customer the best service and end product possible, whilst also managing Sub-Contractors and Engineers to meet financial and operational targets

What’s the best part of your job?

Being able to deliver on a customer’s wishes to the best of their expectations.

What kind of challenges do you face in your role?

Having to meet deadlines which are constantly subject to change and having to meet targets when unforeseen hiccups occur.

Tell us an unusual fact about yourself?

I play Drums, Guitar and attempt to sing (not generally all at the same time) and enjoy nothing more than making music.
