Favourite drink?

At work - two spoons of coffee, a bit of milk and one and half sweeteners. Attention to detail is key! Out of work - Havana and Coke with a slice of lime.

When and Why did you join Trinity?

I joined around 9 months ago. Initially it was the brand name within the industry that made me take the step of talking with Trinity. When I actually met the Regional Management team, it became clear that they were people I’d find it rewarding to work with. Obviously, the client base is great, and I already knew some existing team members who shared my passion for customer service. It felt like the right fit when I joined and I it still feels like I made the right decision.

What is your role at Trinity and what does it involve?

I look after some Key clients in the Midlands area but also work closely with the Group Maintenance Manager, Neill Shirley, on a number of major FM clients whose projects fall within the region. It’s very much a hybrid role of looking after existing customers and trying to expand our client base through strategic targets, incorporating both Projects and Maintenance.

What’s the best part of your job?

The variety of customers, systems and projects I get to work on is great. Also, the Midlands team are a pleasure to work with, everyone is committed to providing the best possible service. Genuinely this isn’t a throw away comment, it’s not easy to find a company where people are not just highly skilled but highly motivated too. As much as I can work on my own, there are always people happy to help.

What kind of challenges do you face in your role?

Time is always a challenge because we are so busy, but that’s something I love about the role. I hate being bored and there’s always something to get involved in.

Tell us an unusual fact about yourself?

My Dad was a professional footballer so being around “legends of the game” at a young age is quite unusual (although it was usual for me). At one time my Dad played in the same team as a 1966 World Cup winner, Alan Ball.
